Successful IEPs

Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) must be well written and faithfully implemented in order to fully support your child. This workshop recaps parent and student rights as covered in the Requesting + Securing an IEP, and how to advocate for those rights in an effective and compelling way so that the IEP is carried out well. This workshop covers:

•Strategies and tactics for having a successful IEP meeting

•Ensuring correct placement for your child

•Creating strong, effective goals

•Procuring the appropriate services and minutes for your child

•Creating a thoughtful list of accommodations and/or modifications

•What to do if you and the IEP team to not agree
