WE ARE THE EALA 2025 NEW CHAMPION!
SpEducational has been awarded the prestigious EALA 2025 New Champion Fund. This recognition validates our mission of lifting up students with disabilities through family voice and provides crucial support as we launch our groundbreaking IEP Empowerment Fellowship Program this fall.
The year long fellowship takes a unique, community-driven approach by teaching families not only IEP advocacy skills but also the foundational principles of community organizing and the critical importance of qualitative data in driving systemic change. Fellows become active researchers and storytellers, documenting their communities' lived experiences navigating special education systems. Fellows will also develop practical IEP toolkits by and for families of students with disabilities.
